The MyDesign group provided creative input on a number of children's projects from a unique and highly valuable grown-up's perspective.

My Design was a design consultancy and research group based at Bromley by Bow Centre exploring and helping make sensory urban design and architecture. Primarily made up of adults with some form of disability we were particularly interested in looking at what and how we can make spaces and the built environment more sensorily engaging.

During 2016-17 our major projects included research and development in sensory place-making for the IOI's Imagination Pods schools programme. This lead onto the Making Amazing Sensory Spaces publication and developing a prototype 'explorers' tool-belt'.

My Design was a project in collaboration with the Bromley by Bow Centre following work the the IOI and Old Palace Primary School on the Pop Up Dome project.

The  Making Amazing Sensory Spaces book is a publication produced by the My Design research group. Its full of advice and practical ways to make the built environment more sensory and was developed over many workshops, experiments, and projects by the My Design team.

Making Amazing Sensory Spaces was a project in collaboration with the Bromley by Bow Centre, sound artist Tom Cook and Children's Museum London.
